I value education, innovation, and foresight paired with kindness and resilience, without giving in to a fear of failure. Being afraid of failure is human – but looking fear in the face and taking on a challenge is the most important thing you can do. I help people build and scale businesses and organizations while using actionable research, design thinking, and scenario planning. I then help those individuals and organizational leaders strategize and evaluate their own leadership potential through research, consulting, and coaching to emphasize authentic leadership development and to use business or organization management as their own expression of creativity while making money and impact.
My teaching and consulting style for adults developed over the last 10 years as a business owner and university instructor, who built one of the first master's degree specializations in social media. Recent research has proven that my teaching increases experiential learning outcomes. I use evidence-based and promising practices to develop authentic leadership skills. When I work with you, we focus on solving the root causes of problems and coming up with innovative solutions. There are no lengthy client pitches and run-arounds, only real results. My writing has been featured in the SAP's The Customer's Edge, Birmingham Business Journal, Alabama Inc, MIT Sloan Executive Education's Innovation @ Work, Venture Beat, PR News' first Social Media Guidebook for digital marketing, AL.com's Young Professionals Millennials of Alabama study, Thrive, and The Foresight Guide.
